Latest Update September 2025: Volume Nine, “The Posessed”.
I’ve been a huge fan of Monstress ever since it started back in 2016. Recently I re-read the whole series, and created a “visual guide” containing people, places and story, because I’ve always found it hard to remember what happened before. If you’re a fan too, you might find it helpful.

It was interesting how the exercise let me pick on up on tantalizing details and casual references which I never would have remembered otherwise. For example, Zinn saying to the Wolf Queen that the Ancients once possessed others’ bodies and “enslaved mortals and transported them to this world”. So much of the back story of the series is not yet revealed!
